1. CONTACT US BEFORE RETURNING A PRODUCT

Please contact HYCHIKA before sending any product back.

You can submit a return request through:

https://hychika.co.uk/pages/returns-refunds

You can also contact us by email:

support@hychika.com

Please include:

• Your full name;
• Your order number;
• The product name and model number;
• The reason for the return;
• The date the product was received;
• Photographs or video where the product is faulty, damaged, incomplete or incorrect.

We will review your request and provide the correct return instructions and return destination.

Do not send products to our Hong Kong registered office, to an address printed on the original parcel or to any other address unless HYCHIKA support has expressly confirmed that address for your return.

Sending a product without first obtaining the correct return instructions may delay the assessment or refund.

2. CANCELLING AN ORDER BEFORE DISPATCH

You may ask us to cancel an order before it is dispatched.

Contact support@hychika.com as soon as possible and include your order number.

We will make reasonable efforts to stop the order. However, cancellation before dispatch cannot be guaranteed once the order has entered warehouse processing or has been handed to the courier.

If the order has already been dispatched, you may still exercise any applicable cancellation or return rights described below.

3. CHANGE-OF-MIND CANCELLATION RIGHTS

For most eligible products purchased online, you have the right to cancel the contract without giving a reason.

You must clearly tell us that you wish to cancel no later than 14 days after the day on which:

• You receive the goods; or
• A person nominated by you, other than the courier, receives the goods.

Where one order contains multiple products delivered on different days, the cancellation period normally ends 14 days after the day on which the final product is received.

You may notify us by:

• Emailing support@hychika.com;
• Submitting the return request form on our Returns & Refunds page; or
• Sending another clear written statement confirming your decision to cancel.

You do not have to use the model cancellation form contained at the end of this policy, but you may use it if preferred.

4. TIME ALLOWED TO RETURN CANCELLED GOODS

After notifying us that you wish to cancel, you must send the goods back without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the day on which you informed us of your cancellation.

Please wait for HYCHIKA to provide the authorised return destination and transport instructions before sending the goods.

Keep your proof of postage, courier receipt and tracking number. These documents may be required as evidence that the goods were returned within the required period.

5. CONDITION OF CHANGE-OF-MIND RETURNS

You may inspect a product to establish its nature, characteristics and operation in the same way that you might reasonably inspect it in a physical shop.

The product should not be handled or used beyond what is reasonably necessary for that inspection.

For power tools and related products, use beyond reasonable inspection may include:

• Using the tool to complete a project;
• Applying paint or other liquids through a paint sprayer;
• Cutting, drilling or sanding materials;
• Causing wear to blades, sanding pads, nozzles or accessories;
• Exposing the product to dust, paint, oil, chemicals, water or debris;
• Modifying, dismantling or attempting to repair the product.

Where handling beyond reasonable inspection reduces the value of the goods, we may make a lawful deduction from the refund to reflect that reduction in value.

Where reasonably possible, please return:

• The product;
• Batteries and chargers supplied with it;
• Accessories and attachments;
• Cases and storage bags;
• Manuals and documentation;
• Promotional items supplied as part of the order;
• The original packaging.

Original packaging is strongly recommended because it helps protect the product during transport. The absence of original packaging does not by itself remove your statutory rights, but you remain responsible for packaging the goods securely.

6. CHANGE-OF-MIND RETURN COSTS

Unless HYCHIKA agrees otherwise, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning goods when you cancel because you have changed your mind.

Use a suitable tracked delivery service and package the product securely.

Do not send damaged, swollen, leaking or otherwise unsafe lithium batteries through an ordinary postal or courier service.

Contact HYCHIKA support before returning any product containing a lithium battery so that appropriate transport instructions can be provided.

You will not be charged a general restocking fee for exercising a valid statutory cancellation right. However, a lawful deduction may be made where the value of the product has been reduced by handling beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect it.

7. REFUNDS FOR CHANGE-OF-MIND CANCELLATIONS

Where you validly cancel the entire order, we will refund:

• The price paid for the returned goods; and
• The cost of the least expensive standard delivery option that we offered, where you paid an initial delivery charge.

If you selected a premium or expedited delivery method, we are not required to refund the amount paid above the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option.

If only part of an order is returned, the original delivery charge might not be refundable where that delivery charge would have been the same for the items you keep.

We may withhold the refund until:

• We receive the returned goods; or
• You provide acceptable evidence that the goods have been sent back,

whichever occurs first.

The refund will be processed without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the relevant event described above.

Refunds are normally issued using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless you expressly agree to another method.

HYCHIKA will not charge a fee for issuing the refund.

After HYCHIKA processes the refund, your bank or payment provider may require additional time to show the funds in your account.

8. FAULTY, DAMAGED, INCORRECT OR MISDESCRIBED GOODS

Your statutory rights are separate from any commercial warranty provided by HYCHIKA.

Goods supplied to consumers must meet applicable legal requirements, including being:

• Of satisfactory quality;
• Fit for any purpose made known to the seller; and
• As described.

Contact us as soon as reasonably possible if:

• The product is faulty;
• The product arrives damaged;
• The wrong product was delivered;
• Parts or accessories are missing;
• The product is materially different from its description; or
• The product does not perform its intended function.

Please keep the product, packaging, shipping label and all included parts while the issue is being assessed.

We may request photographs, video, the model number, serial number, proof of purchase and details of any troubleshooting already attempted.

Providing supporting evidence helps us assess the claim but does not remove or restrict your statutory rights.

9. SHORT-TERM RIGHT TO REJECT FAULTY GOODS

Where goods do not conform to the contract, you may have a statutory short-term right to reject them.

This right normally lasts for 30 days beginning after the relevant legal conditions have been satisfied, which generally include delivery of the goods and, where applicable, completion of any required installation.

Where the short-term right to reject validly applies, you may be entitled to a refund.

A refund due after an accepted statutory rejection will be made without undue delay and normally within 14 days after we agree that you are entitled to the refund.

10. REPAIR, REPLACEMENT AND OTHER REMEDIES

Where the short-term right to reject has expired, or where you choose not to exercise it, you may be entitled to request a repair or replacement.

Any repair or replacement required by applicable consumer law will be carried out:

• Within a reasonable time;
• Without significant inconvenience to you; and
• At no necessary cost to you, including reasonable labour, material and postage costs.

A particular remedy may not be available where it is impossible or disproportionate compared with another remedy.

Where a repair or replacement is unsuccessful, impossible, disproportionate, not completed within a reasonable time or causes significant inconvenience, you may have the right to an appropriate price reduction or the final right to reject the goods.

The remedy available will depend on the circumstances and applicable law.

11. RETURN COSTS FOR FAULTY OR INCORRECT GOODS

Where goods are validly rejected because they are faulty, damaged, incorrect, misdescribed or otherwise do not conform to the contract, HYCHIKA will bear the reasonable and necessary cost of returning them where required by law.

Do not arrange an expensive return service without approval unless urgent action is reasonably necessary.

We may provide:

• A prepaid return label;
• A courier collection;
• An approved return method; or
• Reimbursement of a reasonable agreed return cost.

You must follow any reasonable safety and transport instructions, particularly for batteries, electrical faults or products that may be hazardous.

12. PRODUCTS DAMAGED IN TRANSIT

Where a parcel or product arrives damaged, contact us as soon as reasonably possible.

Please provide photographs showing:

• The outer shipping box;
• The shipping label;
• The internal packaging;
• The damaged area of the product; and
• All contents received.

Do not dispose of the product or packaging until we confirm that it is no longer required for the courier or claim assessment.

A delay in reporting damage does not automatically remove your statutory rights, although prompt notification can make courier investigation easier.

13. MISSING OR INCORRECT ITEMS

Where your order contains a missing or incorrect product, contact support@hychika.com and provide:

• Your order number;
• A list of the products received;
• Details of the missing or incorrect item;
• Photographs of the parcel contents; and
• A photograph of the shipping label.

We will investigate and provide an appropriate remedy.

14. EXCEPTIONS TO CHANGE-OF-MIND CANCELLATION

The statutory change-of-mind cancellation right may not apply to certain categories of goods, including, where applicable:

• Goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised;
• Goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly;
• Sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons after being unsealed;
• Sealed audio, video or computer software after being unsealed; and
• Goods that have become inseparably mixed with other items after delivery.

These exceptions do not remove your legal rights where goods are faulty, damaged, misdescribed or otherwise do not conform to the contract.

A sale, promotional or reduced-price item has the same statutory rights as a full-price item.

15. BATTERIES AND RESTRICTED PRODUCTS

Products containing lithium batteries may be subject to postal, courier and safety restrictions.

Do not return a battery or battery-powered product without first telling us if the battery is:

• Swollen;
• Leaking;
• Punctured;
• Overheating;
• Producing smoke or an electrical odour;
• Physically damaged; or
• Suspected of presenting a safety risk.

Stop using the product, disconnect it safely where possible and keep it away from heat, flames, water and combustible materials.

HYCHIKA support will provide appropriate instructions based on the circumstances.

16. EXCHANGES

We do not guarantee direct exchanges for change-of-mind returns.

Where you want a different product, size, model or accessory, we may ask you to return the original product for a refund and place a separate order.

For faulty goods, a replacement may be offered where appropriate and available.

17. RETURNED PRODUCTS LOST OR DAMAGED IN TRANSIT

When arranging your own change-of-mind return, use suitable protective packaging and retain proof that the parcel was sent.

We recommend using a tracked and appropriately insured service.

Where the product is damaged because it was not packaged with reasonable care, this may affect the refundable amount.

Where HYCHIKA provides a return label or collection service, follow the packaging and collection instructions provided.

18. REFUNDS NOT YET RECEIVED

After receiving a refund confirmation:

1. Check the original payment account;
2. Allow additional processing time required by your bank or payment provider;
3. Contact your bank or payment provider if necessary; and
4. Contact support@hychika.com if the refund still cannot be located.

Please include your order number and refund confirmation details.

19. PROOF OF PURCHASE

We may request reasonable proof that the product was purchased from the official HYCHIKA UK online store.

Acceptable evidence may include:

• An order confirmation;
• A receipt or invoice;
• A customer account order record;
• A payment record; or
• Other reasonable evidence of purchase.

This policy applies specifically to orders placed through hychika.co.uk.

Products purchased through another retailer, marketplace or website may need to be returned through the original seller, without affecting any rights you may have against that seller or manufacturer.
